LunchProdigy.com
Release Date: Thursday, 15th March 2007
Lunch Prodigy beta has been launched. It is primarily targeted for companies whose employees work on a computer on a regular basis and do lunch orders. Instead of having some employee running around the premises to see what his colleagues will be taking for lunch, everyone simply logs in to Lunch Prodigy and makes their order. When everyone has ordered, someone prints the order and phones up the food provider and makes the order.
After the beta phase, we will start signing up providers locally in Malta, and then we will go global.
Buttonia.com
Release Date: Friday, 2nd February 2007
Buttonia is a simple but addictive game where you have to push down all the buttons to win the puzzle. It may sound easy but it gets very challenging. We will soon be adding comments, ranking, and all the other stuff which will make it a game you want to play every day. Currently we generate a random puzzle every day but we will make it possible in the near future to be able to play more than one game per day.
The game concept and coding were done by Sven Neumann, while the buttons' graphics and web design were done by Neville Attard.
Swing 'n Strike
Release Date: Gametrust never got to release it
This game is mainly inspired by the turn-based game Worms 2 and the swinging action from Wik. We wanted to originally create a multiplayer game with a cartoonish look and feel which is playable over the internet between 2 players. However we had to do a single player version for the time being. There has been a slug infestation and you have to kill as much as you can.
The creature you control is a cute animal which can jump around. It is also able to attach to platforms and swing from one platform to another using its long tongue. Although the swinging might seem difficult at first, the skill of reaching otherwise unreachable places is easily learned, yet it takes some time to master.
The technology used is Java 1.1 (due to restrictions from GameTrust) together with TinyLine's bezier drawing library which is normally used as a mobile SVG engine.
BB&Co. website
Release Date: Friday, May12, 2006
This is a small website for BB&Co, an accounts/audit company, which wanted a budget website for their company.
The technology used was very simple ASP (since the server on which it was to be deployed only supported ASP at the time) and the graphics and design were all done by SoftwareProdigy.
PropertyProdigy.com
Release Date: Saturday, June 18, 2005
PropertyProdigy is a free advertising website for properties in Malta. It was created using Java technology together with Hibernate for database communication and SiteMesh for the layout of the website.
The sellers can register for an account and then add their property for sale or rent. The advert is then reviewed by the webmaster and then published online within 24hrs. The seller is notified if the property has been published or not and can later on modify the property or mark it as sold. The buyers can search or browse through the properties available online. If they register an account, we will keep track for them which properties they have already viewed or not since if there are a lot of properties one can forget which properties he had seen.
